sunflower
Helianthus annuus. A distinction is made between four types of sunflower, which were bred for the different types of use: the oil type with extra many tubular flowers, the type of feed with very many leaves, the ornamental type with multiple inflorescences, and the type of food with large and loose-fitting cores. Furthermore, there are now breeds that are immune to certain diseases, especially against fungi. The different types of sunflower already anticipate their possible uses. The use as food either pure or in baked goods and salads or roasted as a coffee substitute should be bekannt.Sonnenblumenkern contain over 90% of unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins A, B, E and F, carotene, calcium, iodine and magnesium and are therefore very healthy.
